The location relates to the location of the accident, incident or near-miss occurrence. This may be different to the employees place of work as specified in the staff table.

 

Users can select a location from the drop-down box or add a new entry as summarized in the getting started section.

The employee's manager relates to their manager at the time of the accident, incident or near-miss occurrence. This may be different to the employees manager as specified in the staff table.

 

Users can select a manager from the drop-down box or add a new entry as summarized in the getting started section.

Unique reference number is simply that, a number allocated by the user to distinguish one record from another. The entry can be any mix of numbers and letters but is limited to an absolute maximum of nine characters.

 

Careful consideration to the reference identification system can lean towards easier record identification.

 

For example,

 

Location - YYMM - Number, could produce a reference number like - RAM100921 or RM-1009-A, etc.

The accident type relates to the  major classification a company may use.  AIM is shipped with the default of accident, incident and near-miss occurrence as major types.

 

Users can select a major classification from the drop-down box or add a new entry as summarized in the getting started section.
