- Appoint a competent person or persons to carry out risk assessments,
- Carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments of our activities.
- Identify and carry out those specific risk assessments where legally required.
- Carry out detailed risk assessments on hazardous activities.
- Implement the control measures to mitigate or reduce those risk(s) identified.
- Communicate the significant findings of the risk assessments to the attention of those affected.
- Amend risk assessments when changes occur, and review them regularly to ensure they are kept up to date.
- Adequately train staff on the principles of risk assessment, in particular the identification of hazards, and the implementation of control measures to remove or reduce the risk.
