SMART stands for Sickness Monitoring and Recurring Trends and is a comprehensive sickness / absenteeism management and analysis program, designed to be used by both the HR professional and those with administration responsibilities.

SMART is the result of 10 years learning and development. Its primary objective is to reduce the overall risk to businesses by making sickness / attendance management simpler, less bureaucratic and more efficient.

Installation Guide:

The FREE version of SMART will be installed into a directory on your C:\ Drive, "C:\Smart_v3".

Note: SMART can be moved into and alternative directory and has a self re-connection routine to easily allow users to do so. A typical example would be when SMART's data file 'SMART_be' is moved onto a network drive so to allow the front end to be placed on numerous user's terminals.

Network Usage: SMART has been designed and developed to be multi-user and network efficient. SMART always performs best when working on your local computer, however it is recognised that many users will wish to network SMART. Users may notice a slower than expected performance when connected over a network depending upon various factors such as the design, configuration, speed, traffic etc of your companies network. (Example network setup)

Caution: If you are in corporate network environment, you should check with your information technology department to determine whether your company has established guidelines concerning enabling content on Access databases.
