Risk Assessment 'Fire Precautions, page 1' Questions Cover:

 

6.01The premises have an adequate number of alarm call points determined by an assessment of the level of occupancy, the activities and contents of the premises?

6.02Call points are adequately signed and visible in the event of power failure?

6.03Fire sounders are positioned so as to provide warning to any parts of the premises as determined by an assessment of the level of occupancy and activities?

6.04The premises fire alarm system(s) are tested at least weekly?

6.05Records of the fire alarm checks are available, legible and up to date?

6.06A regime of regular maintenance of fire prevention equipment is undertaken (i.e. smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, hose reels etc)

6.07Records of checks undertaken to equipment in Q6.06 are available, legible and up to date?

6.08The premises have adequate number of portable fire fighting appliances determined by an assessment of the activities and contents?
