TIRA has been designed to be flexible to allow the end user the choice of how to input and control their task inventories, risk assessments (tasked based risk assessments), risk assessment findings, risk assessment actions, risk assessment briefings and briefing records. TIRA provides the user with risk assessment examples, risk assessment forms and risk assessment templates to allow risk assessment management and risk assessment analysis.
The three basic methods to use TIRA as a risk management tool are;
Most organisations will probably use method 3, which is a mixture of the first two methods. However, this is not a problem, use whatever is best for the organisation, the programme will not restrict you.
Except exception of the Task Inventory module, all other modules have been designed and developed to be similar in style, feel and functionality. This will greatly reduce the time required to become familiar with TIRA as a risk management tool.
